This is my card for the Sisterhood November swap. The ornament is removable and ready for the tree. It's not one of those 10 minute cards, but I'm pretty happy with the results. The ornament is from Outlines. The snowflakes are SU Snow Swirled (I think). It's good to get back on my blog.

This mini backpack was so fun to make. The directions are from splitcoaststampers. It was pretty easy to do. The paper I used is Basic Grey Lime Rickey. I just love these birds and their bright colors. The blue is shiny Bazzill. Can't wait to make some more. My children are standing in line waiting for one because I don't want to share mine.

I made this card for my friend's "On the Farm" swap. The stamps are from Micheal's dollar bin. The barn is a shrinked design from a discontinued SU farm set. I colored in with prismacolor markers and added stickles where I could. Nothing for the horse yet, gotta dress her up a bit.

This card is for my another brother who also has a birthday this week. Gotta love Riley. This card will bring a smile to his face. We went on a cruise to Bermuda with my brother and his wife last fall. The four of us and another couple rented mopeds for the day and cruised the island. The guys were calling themselves the "wild hogs" from the John Travolta movie. I couldn't make Riley wear the silly white helmets they give you to make sure the locals know you are a tourist and to "watch out". Inside the card says "Go Hog Wild".

Ok, so not a lot of stamping on this card, just the Happy Birthday inside, but what a fun time I had making this card. It was for my brother's birthday. He's a Huskie's fan (as most of us Connecticut-born are, especially at this time of year when the basketball teams are competing in the Final Four. The present I found is a Spring weight Connecticut Huskies jacket, with Jonathan on the sleeve. Well, my brother, Jonathan, loved the jacket and this card. Thanks to my friend's signifigant other who works for the college and got me this awesome shiny sticker. It's one of those clear stickers you can put on a card window or somewhere. I made a navy circle to go behind the dog and the navy strip to dress it up a little bit and have the husky show more. Just happened to have a puppy paw brad that I picked up at the last stamp show I went to.

I made this Valentine for my friend's little boy. Not sure who makes the alien stamp, but I think he's adorable. I colored him in a pale blue with glitter green nose and ears. Silver trim on his helmet. He's 5, I think it will be a hit.

This isn't the best picture, but I used a block stamp from Outlines and turned it into a picture with a square frame I found at Dollar Tree. I'm giving it to my stamping friend who lives in town. She always keeps her cards received in her kitchen on a bakers rack, hopefully this will fit there too.

Get your chance to win some blog candy on the KLSTAMPINNSCRAPPIN site. She's giving away such a pretty prize. I just love the paper.

I was tagged. So I went into mypictures and my 6th folder and my 6th picture and I can't believe what I found. My babies. This was over 5 years ago. Yes my tag friend, my middle daughter is wearing a "Bob the Builder" dress. She's such a tom boy now, but I used to be able to dress her up.

This card is for a swap about my favorite vacation destinations. I chose a camping theme instead of a lovely island somewhere because camping is where our family memories are made. We camp at least 2 weeks of the year, and there are always extra relatives that camp too. It's a fun time to spend together and my girls really have fun. We've never seen the bear while camping, but a raccoon or two won't hurt. Thanks to my friend Gael for letting me borrow her stamp set. I just happened to find the camping words and striped DP in Summer stack from DCWV.

I made this simple card to send to my nephew who is a Marine serving in Iraq. I sent him 12 of them so he could share with some of his friends. Not sure if they'll have a chance to get them home for Valentine's day so I figured that a "love" card would be welcomed anytime. I learned after I sent these that he has 70 members in his unit. That's a lot of cards, but I'll get something to all of them eventually.

Ok, so I've been meaning to learn how to get my blog going. Here's a start. This is my Mardi Gras card for my sisterhood monthly swap. I love owls so when I was thinking about making my card and looking for something to "dress" for the party, this Sizzix owl just popped out.
